IXTAPA

The Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo touristic project was the first project financed by the World Bank between the years 1968 and 1972, including the construction of 3500 hotel rooms, 500 Villas, the International Airport of Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo and urban development.

The development of Ixtapa started with a surface of 2015 hectares blending urban in the natural enviroment making our destination a colorful paradise. From La Majahua Beach to the Ixtapa River mouth, and San José Ixtapa formerly called Barrio Viejo, summing a litoral with 24 kilometers longitude, full of different and attractive mix of cliffs, shelves, valleys and beaches in 2290 kilometers coast.

Ixtapa is a Gran Turismo destination blending the nature creating beautiful and tranquil spaces, for natives and locals whom decide to stay and it's visitors.
